How to Ravish a Rake
Apr 04, Jessica rated it it was amazing Shelves: But back to Will and Amy. Amy has grown from the shy wallflower that we met in How To Marry a Duke, to a young lady dancing at the balls and showing off fashionable gowns that she, herself designed.
Neither wanted to be with the other at first, but I liked that they quickly started to see gow good in one another. But is Amy willing to risk her heart and future happiness with an unrepentant rake?
Amy, the emerging wallflower and the Will, the lovable rake with wanderlust. It helps that I have a inclination for romances about a married couple falling in love. Amy comes to the marriage without any level of trust in Will, and decides to keep the knowledge of her deal with the dressmaker secret so she can continue saving for an emergency fund.
Even though he starts off with that plan he quickly repents and decides to give it up, but ends up in a compromising position anyway, and married to her. Toss in that situation with their newly coerced marital status and it made for a thrilling page turning experience. The thought of these two getting together had me desperate for their story. The rest of the book is about both of them getting to know each other better, and learning to trust each other.
Will is the youngest son in his family. He has a maddening family who are trying to get him to settle down instead of always leaving and traveling. And again, even though Will realized he needed his rakr, I don’t see him spilling it all in front of the most meddling members of his family.
Soon afterwards, they are forced into marriage. Amy is just an awesome heroine and I loved her whole story. That whole situation that they were caught in was hilarious. I really enjoyed Amy and her designs. This book shows promise and, given the chance, I would read another book in the series. I couldn’t wait for this installment thanks in part to shy, wallflower Amy. I enjoyed his wooing of Amy and I found myself as charmed by him as she was.

Despite them not knowing each other well, they quickly learn to rely on each other for strength and ohw importance of fully believing in each other.
I have to say I’m picking up the two in the series before this! The papers have named him the devil. And she doesn’t back down from Will either.
I felt Will was so different than we are lead to believe. It’s just the perfect situation to bring this quirky couple together. I have a bit of a crush on Beau. This book is a fast paced romance that left me sighing happily and wishing for more.
So they end up married anyway. I had to smother my face into a pillow to keep from waking the household with my burst of laughter there Needless to say, I think I’m going to skip any future books by Vicky Dreiling I guess I would too if some creepy vicar from my hometown thinks we belong together.
She overreacted to epic proportions only to cave in quickly the next morning after all her bags had been packed. He raised his voice. We get a bit of Hawk and Julianne and get a chance to see how things are with them. This scheme proves to be anything but easy. Studying fashion plates, and working with a modiste, Amy realizes she has quite the eye for fashi read my review on demonlover’s 3.
A native Texan, she shares her home with her daughter and a spoiled mini-lop rabbit that lives in a slightly gnawed cardboard cottage. What gow you think? I found the progression of their relationship to feel real and I enjoyed watching it unfold.
